Best in class!

Reviewer: Phantom,
I just picked this watch up after realizing I didn't want to wear my Tag watch everyday... go figure. I got this watch because it fits in with my job, military pilot... after comparing all the other similar watches on the market I chose this one. It's comfortable, stong, and it looks great. The coolest feature is the ECO Drive... it's got a battery meter on the dial to show how much charge you have. It's pretty cool when you take the watch out of the case if you put it away for a while it goes into some sort of power saving mode when it's in pitch black and when the light hits it again the dials spin around to catch up to the current time... kinda cool and it lets you know this is really a high tech time piece! The other features on it take a little while to get used to. I love the time zone features and that this has the look of an analog watch with all the features of a digital watch. Haven't had a chance to use the bezel yet... more of a novelty than anything else I think... however it gives the watch a unique look and distinguishes it from a lot of other watches... if you're comparing it to other watches like it, with the bezels and all. I would definately go for this one. I picked black because it's a little different than my other watches and because I prefered a black watch in what I wear to work. Just pick what color you like best, there's a few different looks to choose from. The black is really good looking though. It's got the competition beat in features, value, appearance, comfort... you name it, this watch is best in class! You won't be disappointed!

I replaced my old (10 years) Citizen Skyhawk watch with this one. I had to replace the battery every 3 years or so. The last time, the watch shop screwed it up. So, I was familiar with the way this watch works. It does not have a light (niether did th old one) so it's tough to see the digital portion at night or in a darkend area. If you are a pilot, or in the aviation industry and use UTC time, this watch comes in very handy as there is a dial on the face that tracks UTC time. It's slightly heavier than the older versions, but I figure that's due to the Eco-Drive. Overall, I am very pleased with it.
Great watch everyone should have one

My brother and sister in-law bought this watch for me. I had mentioned to them that I was looking for a sporty time piece and what I was shown was way out of my price range. Having the great brother and sister in-law that I do they surprised me with it for my birthday. The features are just incredible. Once you figure out the bezel tools you can pretty much calculate any aviation problem you might have. The looks of this watch are perfect for casual or dress up. Being retired military I still enjoy playing around with the different time zone features. Had I had this watch while in the military it would have helped out greatly. I recommend this watch to everyone that is looking for a sporty yet nice looking watch. The eco drive is a great plus also. I can't thank my brother and sister in-law enough for getting me such a great present. This will be with me for a very long time. Thanks again Dan and Amy I love it.
Great aviator for the price

I got this watch two months ago and it was exactly what I was looking for. It has all of the bells and whistles and easy to maneuver. It's my first Citizen eco-drive and probably won't be my last. I have two Oakley's, GMT and Detonator, and a Rolex Submariner. I saw this watch around Christmas and no retail store in the area carried them. Still don't! Price was great since I don't do retail.
Great watch, nice price

I was looking for a watch for travel.
One that didn't look too casual, but not too expensive.
This watch was what I was looking for.
Nice functions and looks.
The only problem is that you have to go to a jeweler in order for it to be fitted, they should provide a do-it-yourself tool.
Great watch

Reviewer: Aaron Searle,
I purchased this watch about a month ago and still have to show it to people when they see it. Everybody always asks where i got it from. This watch has plenty of bells and whistles and i use most of them. If your a pilot or in the military like i am youll apreciate having UTC displayed on the dial so you dont have to calculate anything. This is a great watch and i would recommend it to anyone who is interested.
Timepiece to keep around

Reviewer: J. Richardson,
I love this watch. feels good too not to have to worry about the battery going out or having to shake my arm to get it going. Ive already been through some bumps and scrapes but the finish is still looking like new. I was afraid the black finish would rub off or something but like I was hoping its still all black.
This is an awesome watch.

This is my 3rd Citizens Watch. I also own a battery powered Blue Angels, and a Sky Hawk Eco-Drive. They are 9 years old, and 4 years old respectively. I'm an outdoors-man, and I'm very hard on my watches. These things are built like little tanks. I've beat them to death, and they've never let me down. Every 3 or 4 years I send them into have the crystals replaced, and the battery replaced in the Blue Angels Chronograph. That is all the maintenance that they get. I find it amazing that banging them against abrasive surfaces while hunting and fishing has only damaged the crystals. Other then that these watches look and work like they're new. I'm 65 years old, and I've never found a watch that is as rugged or reliable as Citizens watches are. I'm a customer for life. Good job citizens!

i purchased this item for my husband for Christmas. He has been wanting a Skyhawk for a few years now, being prior military. I read previous reviews from other customers, some whom were not as happy and more that were. My husband is COMPLETELY happy with this watch! Everything that it said it was is 100% accurate!! The seller was timely in shipping and everything was perfect. I would highly rate this watch and anyone interested in this item will not be dissatisfied!!!!!!!!!
Very nice watch

Very nice watch. Good quality. I had it for a month now, still now scratches. Watch somewhat heavy at first, but then you get used to it. Has very good and useful functions.
Exactly What I Was Looking For

I had been looking for a sporty watch with a black metal case and bracelet. I was looking for something different from the sea of silver watches.

I've had a Casio G-Shock for a couple of years, a tough, practical watch to be sure. I wanted to get something a little more classy. This is a substantial watch, with a good range of features and a clear, well laid out display. Being an aviator watch, there is a lot of stuff on the face, but it works for me.

Unbelievably cool. When I took it out of the box and the watch was in light, the hands automatically started moving to the correct time and date!
The Black Eagle Eco Drive watch

I purchased my Black Eagle this summer, from the moment I opened the box I knew that I was going to like this watch. I have been collecting watches all my life, I have every one I ever owned still, regardless of value. This Black Eagle is a very high quality timepiece in every detail, features, accuracy, understated elegance and finish. It's clearly a rugged watch, and now one of my very favorites. I have Rolex, Movado, Wittnauer, Breitling, Sieko, and many others; the Black Eagle is my second favorite. The only watch I like even more is my new black Citizen ECO-DRIVE Skyhawk A-T, the flagship in Eco drive watches. Yes, there's enough capability in that watch to launch the shuttle!

I highly recommend both watches, but the Eagle is a little smaller, and little less expensive.
Awesome!

The watch looks incredible, wears well, has tons of functions beyond telling time and did I mention looks incredible! I've gotten tons of "nice watch" comments from people and I would highly recommend to anyone who digs nice time pieces!
Great Watch

This watch looks great in the picture on my digital screen, but when I received it and tried it on it looks awsom. The wrist band is a very, very dark grey (not total black) more like graphite (pencil led), personally I liked it better. All of it's features make it really cool and it enhances anyones appereance. I's a real jewel.
