The Seiko SXE586 stainless steel women's watch is complimentary to a wide range of couture--from business to evening wear. Its round silver stainless steel watch case is highlighted by a slightly raised bezel with a thin gold-tone ring and studded accents. The creamy white dial background includes thin gold-tone stick dial markers and hands (with a second hand) and a date function at 3 o'clock. The bracelet band is composed of bulbous, trident-shaped silver links with gold-tone accents. Other features include Japanese quartz movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet).

I tried on several types of watches of this sort in stores before taking the "leap of faith" of ordering this watch over the internet from Amazon. I was extremely pleased when it arrived. It is a nice dual tone watch (the photo had done it justice), sporty, yet feminine and perfect for my small wrist (I am small boned and some of the watches like this were much too bulky on my wrist). The only trade-off was that I had to pay to have a jeweler adjust the band, but considering how much $$ I saved by ordering it from Amazon.com...it was still very worth it. It is a practical watch for a busy Mom, yet dressy and versatile at the same time. I love it.

This watch is comfortable to wear, and it looks great! I looked at a lot of the watches on Amazon that have all 12 hour markings, the combination of gold and silver coloring, plus the date, and I thought this one was the best-looking. I have a beautiful Bulova that my folks gave me for high school graduation more than 20 years ago, and it finally stopped working. This is not as fancy as a new Bulova (and not as expensive, either), but it's very pretty, and I feel completely comfortable wearing it at work and with any outfit. The gold and silver colors on the watch allow me to wear it with any other jewelry. At some point, I will probably need to have the crystal replaced with one that has a little magnifier over the date, but for now, I can read it.

Purchased a Seiko from Amazon, had one previously (had for 12 years)so that when it didn't work any longer, took it to the jeweler and found out that it was quite costly to fix. The jeweler gave me a price on a new one. Phew!!! Found Amazon had it for the right price, decided to order, and am quite pleased with their explanation of the product and the speed of receiving same. Thank you Amazon.
